Description
This instrumentation for brass choir was arranged by William Adam for my graduate recital. Playing in Mr. Adam’s brass choir was a privilege. When he offered to write something for my recital I was thrilled. This recording was one of several brass choir arrangements he did over many years. All of them were written to instill Mr. Adam’s concept of sound and follow through. This tune and several others were recorded as a limited pressing CD for his 85th birthday and was a gift from his former students. The trumpet section included Charley Davis, Larry Hall, Jerry Hey, Gary Grant and me.
